Lessons Learned

One of the most valuable lessons I learned working with horses is to take the time that it takes. When I cinch a horse, for example, I always tighten the cinch three times before I get on. Doing so takes an extra 5-10 minutes, but it prevents the horse from ever becoming ‘cinchy’.
