Backing Is King

One of the most valuable exercises to teach a horse to do with excellence is backing from the ground. Backing a horse often mentally changes his entire attitude and fixes a lot of problems-especially with real dominant, mouthy horses. When a horse backs well, he’ll do everything else better.
